When we were in Barcelona earlier this year, one of the things we shot was Torre Agbar. It’s an interesting office tower that uses LED’s to light up the exterior. It really stands out at night.
Shortly after we returned home, I was contacted by a magazine in Germany that wanted to use one of my photographs of Torre Agbar in an upcoming issue about LED lights. I just received a copy of the finished magazine last week, and to my surprise, they ended up using my shot on the cover! This is the first commercial use of one of my photographs, and I’m pretty excited about it.

very cool! was this one of the photos you shot after the screen on your camera broke?
Ian: I think it was still working at this point. It seems like it broke the day we left Barcelona for France, and this shot was taken the day before we left.
