Neon is so flexible. Typically a neon sign is high above eye level, which makes it possible to capture it at many angles. I shot this sign from about 10 angles, but this one was my favorite.

Neon is such an interesting subject. Sometimes bright and popping right off the screen, and sometimes soft and abstract.

When we were in Barcelona earlier this year, one of the things we shot was Torre Agbar. It’s an interesting office tower that uses LED’s to light up the exterior. It really stands out at night.
Shortly after we returned home, I was contacted by a magazine in Germany that wanted to use one of my photographs of Torre Agbar in an upcoming issue about LED lights. I just received a copy of the finished magazine last week, and to my surprise, they ended up using my shot on the cover! This is the first commercial use of one of my photographs, and I’m pretty excited about it.
I know there is traffic on the freeway in the morning, but don’t you think you should maybe be WATCHING THE CARS THAT ARE AROUND YOU? I have no idea who you are, but maybe you could read the newspaper when you are doing something that requires a little less of your attention and when you are NOT in a vehicle next to me, mmmkay?
