Week 34 of the 2008 Challenge. This mural is on the Tunnel Avenue entrance of the tunnel leading to Dornan Drive and Ferry Point. It was commissioned by the Point Richmond neighborhood Council in 1996. The artist is John Wehrle.

Week 33 of the 2008 Challenge. Matthews Corporation International Freedom Sculpture, located in Rolling Hills Memorial Park. This sculpture used to have two hands and a bird, but it has been vandalized. Now the effect is of a hand reaching desperately from the grave, rather than hands releasing a bird to be free.
