Today marks the start of the 98th Tour de France. In honor of the Tour, I will be posting a cycling related photo every day for the next 21 days.

This image was taken at the start of the final stage of the 2007 Paris-Nice race. They are one of the motorcycle teams that bring photos and videos of the race to fans around the world.

This photo was just chosen to be included in the schmap.com Travel Guide to Nice, France. It’s listed under the Nice Sporting Events page.

This was taken in Nice at the beginning of the final stage of the race. Alberto Contador with the Discovery Channel Team went on to win the stage and the overall race.

It’s pretty neat to see something I took used on another site. Gotta love the Creative Commons license.

Today was our last day in the UK, and we woke up to snow! That was a nice surprise. We fly home tomorrow. It’s been a good trip. Lots of good food, good photos, and good times. I actually feel relaxed, so I guess the vacation worked.
