This was taken in Nice at the beginning of the final stage of the race. Alberto Contador with the Discovery Channel Team went on to win the stage and the overall race.

Today was our last day in the UK, and we woke up to snow! That was a nice surprise. We fly home tomorrow. It’s been a good trip. Lots of good food, good photos, and good times. I actually feel relaxed, so I guess the vacation worked.
This photo was taken after the finish of Paris-Nice. It was really cool to see the start and finish of stage 7 of this race. Cycling is so different from other sports. You can get really close to the teams and riders, and after the race everybody is just kind of hanging around, watching the teams pack up and seeing the gear.
