My Version

To me, this photograph was about the contrast in the windows of the building. I wanted to focus attention on the windows. To do this, I rotated and cropped the image so that most of the frame was filled with the building. I then adjusted the levels, boosted the contrast, and converted the image to black and white with a red filter.

My Neighborhoods photo collaboration project, week 4: Financial District. 555 California, formerly the Bank Of America Center, sits in the heart of the financial district. At 52 stories and 779 feet, it is one of the tallest buildings in San Francisco.
