
The Transamerica Pyramid is probably the most recognizable building in the San Francisco skyline. The building used to have an observation deck on the 27th floor, but this was closed in the paranoia knee-jerk reactions surrounding the 9/11 attacks.

This is my favorite time of year. The days are shorter and the weather is cooler. The earlier sunset means that familiar areas now look completely different at the same time of day. The combination of street lamps and storefront lighting gave these trees a unique look that would not happen in the summertime, when the stores would be closed after dark.
